Dada, Tea & Vetiver

By Cire Trudon

$105.00

Dadaism was an intellectual, literary and artistic movement that, during World War I, swept aside all conventions and constraints in ideology, aesthetics and politics to make way for extravagance, ridicule and mutinous, caustic spirit. Its artists strived to be disrespectful and provocative and demonstrated total disdain for the old-fashioned ideas of the past. They questioned the underpinnings of society. Leaders of the pack: Tristan Tzara, Man Ray, Françis Picabia, Erik Satie, Marcel Duchamp.
