How would you describe your personal style?
Reed (my coworker) teasingly declared that I dress like a “Puritan” recently, and so I’ll embrace that description. I tend to gravitate towards pieces that are easy, modern & mostly unadorned. I probably own about 15 shirt-dresses, all in either black, navy or white! As much as I love jewelry, I rarely wear it other than my wedding rings, opting instead for a bright red or pink lip when I need a pop of something.

What are some styling tips you give to your clients that you can share?
Not much in the way of styling tips other than encouraging people to try on something if they are curious – many understated pieces are hard to get a real idea of until you put them on the body, unlike some louder, trendier clothing.

What are a few of your favorite brands at KP and why?
Sofie D’Hoore and Robert Clergerie are probably the two in heaviest rotation at the moment because they are so chic, wearable & make getting dressed for work stress-free! I’ll also always be a Rachel Comey and Apiece Apart sort of girl. I’ve got pieces from both of those lines in my closet spanning the last 10 years that I mix with my newer items from both designers.

What would you never wear and why?
A halter top. I wore a denim one once when I was 18 or 19, and 20 years later I’m still feeling uncomfortable about that decision!

What is the most important part of working with your clients?
Ideally, helping them to find their own identity when getting dressed.

What is your favorite KP purchase and why?
My Jesse Kamm kimono jumpsuit. I feel infinitely cooler whenever I put it on.

Who are your style inspirations?
Georgia O’Keefe, Kim Gordon, and Mick Jones from The Clash.
