How would you describe your personal style?
A little “garconne” and a lot “effortless”. If it takes me longer than 10 minutes to get ready, I have a panic attack.
What are some styling tips you give to your clients that you can share?
Roll it, tuck it, make it feel lived in.
What are a few of your favorite brands at KP and why?
Lemaire, Issey Miyake, Jil Sander and Nehera. Each of these lines take care to create thoughtfully designed garments that are not only beautiful, but insanely easy to wear and will be mainstays in my wardrobe for the rest of my life.
What would you never wear and why?
A push up bra! Gotta leave a little somethin’ to the imagination!
What is the most important part of working with your clients?
Creating lasting relationships. I sincerely want to be best friends with all of my clients.
What is your favorite KP purchase and why?
My linen Nehera suit from spring/summer 17! The jacket is very oversized. It reminds me of the suit David Byrne wore in “Stop Making Sense” and I love that.
Who are your style inspirations?
This question is more of a “what” than a “who” for me… From 80’s French, Americana and Japanese fashion to classic films to music and musicians to art to images of interiors to antiques to vintage and contemporary fashion powerhouses to people on the street. There’s soooo much good stuff in the world to feel inspired by! I want to thank the internet, Instagram and discount bookstores for feeding my little aesthetic soul.
